Improving the Quality of Life in Algiers
Located directly across the Mississippi River from downtown New Orleans, Algiers is the only part of the City of New Orleans and Orleans Parish that is located on the West Bank. Though just a few miles away from the hustle and bustle of downtown New Orleans and the French Quarter, Algiers has a suburban atmosphere.

The Algiers Neighborhood Presidents Council is a non-profit organization whose members are presidents (or their representatives) of the various neighborhood associations in Algiers. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life in Algiers through collaboration and shared resources.
