Algiers Neighborhoods are busy getting ready for Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday

The Bocage neighborhood will celebrate from 6 to 9 p.m. Residents are encouraged to roll out those barbecue pits, lawn chairs and community spirit. The goal is to fill the neighborhood with the wonderful smell of food and the sound of laughter.

Olive Branch Café and Garcia Insurance Services are sponsoring this year’s event. For more information, call Eric Songy, president of the Bocage Civic Association, at 504.394.4039.”

Steeple Chase/DeBattista Civic Associatio“Steeple Chase/DeBattista Civic Association
Pizza, drinks, sweets and door prizes will be part of the celebration for Steeple Chase/ DeBattista Civic Association’s Night Out Against Crime.

The celebration will be held on Patterson Road between Steeple Chase and DeBattista Place from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Walnut Bend
The Walnut Bend Night Out Against Crime party will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Fiesta Street (between Valentine and Prancer).

A Halloween doggie costume contest, food, games, music and fun are all part of the activities. The contest is at 7 p.m. If you plan to enter your dog in the contest, RSVP to yvonnemg@aol. com no later than Monday.

Park Timbers/Lennox
The Park Timbers/Lennox subdivision party will include visits from local officials, New Orleans police, firefighters and emergency medical services.

Tunisburg McClendonville
