NEW ORLEANS - District "C" Councilmember Kristin Gisleson Palmer and Ocshner Health will offer free COVID-19 testing and community mask giveaway in Algiers this week. Free, walk-up testing will be available at the Greater St. Mary Baptist Church (1533 Horace St.) Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27, from 9 AM to 4 PM or until all test kits have been utilized.
Anyone 2 years of age and older who would like to know their COVID-19 status is eligible for testing. Councilmember Palmer will provide masks to community members during testing hours.
