NOPD TO HOLD SERIES OF COMMUNITY MEETINGS ON CONSENT DECREE PROGRESS

NEW ORLEANS—The NOPD will hold a series of community meetings over the next two weeks to update the community on the progress the department has made in complying with the federal consent decree and to discuss ways the department is working to engage with the community.

 

The department will hold one meeting in each police district. All meetings will start at 6 p.m.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 22 at 6 p.m.

WHERE: University Hospital, 2000 Canal Street, Room C

 

Second District

WHEN: Thursday, June 23 at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Tulane University, Lavin-Bernick Center for University Life, Room 212 - Qatar Ballroom

 

Third District

WHEN: Wednesday, June 29th at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Lakeview Christian Center, 5885 Fleur De Lis Drive

 

Fourth District

WHEN: Thursday, June 30th at 6 p.m.

WHERE: Algiers Regional Library, 3014 Holiday Drive

 

Fifth District
